Children can be positioned two ways in the BabyBjorn Air: inward-facing for newborns over 8 lbs and at least 21" tall and forward-facing for older babies up to 22 lbs. It is soft and flexible allowing it to contour to the child's body for proper support and includes a head/neck support that can be used for inward-facing babies and folded-down to allow forward-facing babies to see out. The carrier is machine washable and is guaranteed free from harmful substances. The BabyBjorn Air differs from BabyBjorn's Active baby carrier since it includes heat and moisture reduction and the integrated storage pouch but lacks the comfort features that come with the Active.
