Stokke Tripp Trapp
$250.00
Released January, 2009
The Pros:Very sturdy and durable build quality--can handle up to 300lbs. Very adjustable--can accommodate children of nearly any age. Allows younger children to comfortably enjoy a meal on the same table as the rest of the family.
The Cons:Pretty pricey compared to other, more basic/standard high chairs which basically perform as well. Can be easily tipped over by child while on carpet. Straps can be too confining for some kids.
The Stokke Tripp Trapp is an inexpensive highchair featuring a classic at-the-table wood high chair design. The unit forgoes a feeding tray under the pretense that the child should eat their meal directly from a dinner table — allowing for a closer connection between the child and his/her family.

Signature to the Tripp Trapp is that its adjustable, which in turn means children of all ages can use the device. Included also is an adjustable footrest; a sturdy construction built from harvest beech wood; and a maximum weight capacity of 300 pounds. In fact, Stokke claims that the Tripp Trapp can be used from a baby’s birth until the child graduates highschool.
